Our Story about the best made burger

The Accuburger started in college when I was taking a food safety class and the assignment was to help make food safer.  My first thought was food contamination and handling meat. Then I sought out my parents Frank & Mary Kaehler, because they sell home raised beef and have been involved in the beef industry their entire lives. We discussed a few ideas and with that the invention came to life.

I had several drawings to give to the University of Iowa to help me build a 3D print of the Accuburger and then from there I worked with Lon Weber at Iowa Mold to get a Mold created. He referred me to PIP in Newton, who then manufactured the first Accuburger, who still makes them today.

I'm very proud to keep the business in Iowa and work with great folks from Iowa as well.
